meet the virago
Most people see what's left standing. Few see what it took to become her.
how the virago was forged
Most people know the highlights.
The stage. The microphone. The fitness. The book. The speaking. What they don't see is the fight behind it. The battles that happen long before anyone is paying attention.
The moments where you have to decide whether you're going to stay down or get back up one more time.
Virago is not a character. It's a decision.
A refusal to surrender your identity to circumstances, criticism, fear, setbacks, or the opinions of other people. For me, that fight has taken many forms. I've stood on stages and performed for thousands. I've struggled with anorexia. I've fought cancer. I've rebuilt when it would have been easier to quit.
And through every season, I learned the same lesson: Strength isn't something you're born with. It's something you build. Today, I use music, speaking, rock star body, and my story to inspire people to become stronger than what tried to break them.
Because the hardest fights rarely happen in public. Sometimes they live in your body. Sometimes they live in your mind. Sometimes they stare back from the mirror. This is where the rebuilding begins.
Welcome to the Underground.
